The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The movement is signed Adie-Marlys Watch Co.
The watch itself measures 28.5mm wide excluding the winding crown and 29mm high excluding the fixed wire lugs… it would suit a slim to medium wrist. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1932, with a maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison who supplied watch cases to many watch makers. The case is in lovely condition.
The lens is in lovely condition.
The dial is signed with the Crusader name. It is in its original finish and, apart from a little darkening to the right, it is in good condition with Breguet style hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
The watch has a vintage leather strap which is in good wearable condition.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
