Smiths 15 Jewel Everest Model A.404, Circa 1954

1940 - 1960
Description

For sale is this good Smiths 15 jewel Everest model A.404, circa 1954 This one has a very nice original and unrestored dial showing only slight ageing. The original hand set has lost the luminous paint. The case retains approx. 80% of its original case plate. The stainless-steel screw down water proof back is signed Dennison. Correct movement retaining cover to the fine 15 jewel fully signed gilt movement. This is quite an early example that is in nice original condition and has the slightly larger case lugs that some prefer compared against the Antarctic version.
