A Rare, Exceptional Swiss Black Forest Carved Clock

Description

Of good size and very well carved. One of the best we have seen, with the original Swiss movement stamped interlaken. In working order, striking on a bell. The carving is of a boy carrying a basket with fruit. It is of a fantastic warm colour.

Circa 1880.
