Antique Silver Pocket Watch, H E Peck, London

1900 - 1920
Description

An antique Swiss silver pocket watch retailed by H E Peck of London.

The watch has a key-wound movement which is working nicely. A winding key is included. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are Swiss hallmarks inside both of the case backs. The case is in good condition and the engine turned detail is still nice and crisp.

The watch glass is in good condition.

The white enamel dial is signed with the name H E Peck, London… the original retailer of the watch. Henry Peck was listed as being both a watch maker and jeweller. There is a little darkening to the subsidiary seconds dial but other than that, it is in good condition.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
