A Gents 9 Carat Gold Rotary Wrist Watch, 1957

1940 - 1960
Description

A gents 9 carat gold Rotary wrist watch.

The watch has a good quality 17-jewel ETA 2370 hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch itself measures 33.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1957. The case is in good condition with just light surface marks.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original dauphine hands, centre seconds hand with pointer end and outer minute markers. There is a little age related darkening and marking.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
