Description

A late 19th Century American Ansonia ormolu cased mantle clock

the inset porcelain dial with black roman numerals above a mercury pendulum. Set within a bevelled four glass case, with detailed cast ormolu bracket base and lid detailed with scrolling acanthus and floral decoration. The movement stamped to interior 'Ansonia Patented New York'.
