A 1910s Selezi Pocket Watch from Dimier Frères

1900 - 1920
Description

A 1910s Selezi pocket watch from Dimier Frères.

The watch has a good quality Revue stem-winding movement which would have been bought in by Dimier Frères & Cie, to be subsequently sold under the brand name Selezi, registered by Dimier Frères in 1912. The movement is working nicely and it is protected by an inner hinged cover

The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 10ct gold plated and was made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. Overall the case is in good condition for such an early piece with just minor surface marks.

The main face of the watch glass is in good condition… there is a chip to the bevelled edge.

The white enamel dial is in good condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch will come in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
