The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The watch has a grade 620 hand-winding movement which is working nicely.
The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold filled and it is in lovely condition with just light surface marks. The small lens to the front cover is surrounded by Roman numerals with a beautiful blue enamel infill.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, the glass lens is in good condition, as is the signed white enamel dial. Blued steel hands (including the special half hunter hour hand), a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch came to us with the silver gilt double chain. The chain is paler in colour than the watch but they do sit nicely together. Each chain measures 25cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
Also included is a presentation box from Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd.
