18th Cent Welsh Oak Longcase Clock with Moon Dial

Description

A lovely, late 18th Cent, rustic welsh oak longcase clock by Maurice Thomas of Carnarvon, Wales. The case is in oak and is a lovely colour. The 8 day movement strikes the hours on a bell and has a most attractive brass dial. It has a subsidiary seconds dial, date window and a moon phase indicator to the arch.

The case is in lovely original condition and has retained its original finish and is a beautiful colour. The movement is in good working order, keeping good time and all the functions are working as they should.

The maximum dimensions are:

211cm (83") high

54cm (21") wide

28cm (11") deep
