Description

A very nice Westminster Chime bracket clock by the World renowned maker GUSTAV BECKER.

A nicely polished light oak case of lancet design with spiral turned columns to the front corners and standing on turned wooden feet.

The 6" convex silvered dial is in perfect condition with engraved black Roman numerals with very fine cut hands. A cast brass bezel with a convex bevelled glass.

The 8 day movement strikes the westminster chime on the quarters and the hours on rods and has a lovely mellow tone. It is fitted with a STRIKE/SILENT button. It is clearly marked with the GB logo.

The movement has just been fully overhauled by our own BHI registered staff.

The clock is a little lighter in colour and more highly polished than our photos portray, highlighting the medullary rays and pattern of the lovely oak case.
