Masons Antiques has dated this piece to the 1890s.

The 6" convex silvered dial is in perfect condition with engraved black Roman numerals with very fine cut hands. A cast brass bezel with a convex bevelled glass.
The 8 day movement strikes the westminster chime on the quarters and the hours on rods and has a lovely mellow tone. It is fitted with a STRIKE/SILENT button. It is clearly marked with the GB logo.

The movement has just been fully overhauled by our own BHI registered staff.
The clock is a little lighter in colour and more highly polished than our photos portray, highlighting the medullary rays and pattern of the lovely oak case.
