Drocourt Calendar Carriage Clock

Description

A fine and rare calendar dial carriage clock in an engraved gilt 'Gorge' case. The clock is in very original condition with a white enamel dial showing two lower sub dials, one for the calendar and the other for the alarm. The top glass to view the original bi-metallic, jeweled lever escapement with diamond end stone .Push repeat and bell striking on the hour and half hour. The movement is completely original and serviced, polished and sold with a full 12 month guarantee. The movement has the Drocourt number and can be attributed to Drocourt. The dial showing Roman numerals with the blued steel Breguet hands . Push repeat , Circa 1870-80 .
