Description

A very fine quality mid-19th century French ORMOLU MANTLE CLOCK of compact size and in perfect working order.

The case is of finest quality ormolu (gilded bronze) complete with finial of flowers and integral ormolu base. The 8-day silk-suspension movement strikes hours and half-hours on a bell and retains its original silvered dial and blued-steel hands.

A delightful (and heavy quality) clock. 12ins high; 8.5ins wide; 4.25ins deep (30.5 x 21.5 x 10.8cms)
