A Gents 1950s Stylish Revel Wristwatch

1940 - 1960
Description

A gents 1950s very stylish Revel wrist watch.

The watch has a Swiss 16-jewel hand-winding movement, based on the AS 984,which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Revel name.

The watch itself measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the nicely angled lugs. The case has a plated bezel, an alloy centre and a stainless steel case back, a combination often seen in the later 1940s and early 1950s. The case is in good condition with just minor marking, overall very acceptable indeed.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The dial has a fantastic look with the two tone finish, and it is in good condition with just a little marking next to number 9.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
