18th Cent Mahogany London Longcase Clock

Description

A fine quality 18th Cent London longcase clock. It is by Arlander Dobson who worked in Covent Garden, London from 1744 to 1772. The case is in beautifully figured mahogany and has all the features you would expect in a good London clock of the period:

• Brass inlaid columns to hood and trunk

• Five pillar movement with brass dial

• Brass cased weights

• Strike/silent selector

• Well figured mahogany case

• Moulded panel to the base.

A lovely clock in excellent condition. The movement has recently been serviced and it is all working correctly and keeping good time.

The maximum dimensions are:

214cm (84") high

48cm (19") wide

25cm (9.5") deep
