Description

For sale is this rare pre-WW1 British Royal Artillery issue key wound silver hunter pocket watch by Rotherhams including what looks to be a silver medal relating to South Africa. Full silver hall marks to the case. Fully signed movement and dial. The watch is in full working order. The original dial has a couple of very faint hairlines only, and the case shows only very slight service wear. Please refer to page 279 British Military Timepieces by Konrad Knirim for an identical watch no C 41713. Very rare and seldom found as a key wound version.
