An Antique “Express” English Lever Pocket Watch by J G Graves of Sheffield.

Description

An antique “Express” English Lever pocket watch by J G Graves of Sheffield.

The watch has a key-winding movement which is working well. The movement is protected by a fitted inner cover. A winding key is included.

The watch measures 56.6mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for Chester 1900 with a maker’s mark for the case maker J.G.Graves Shefield. The case has a small "ding" to the outer edge at 3 o'clock and light surface marking from use but overall it is in nice condition for a 1900s piece.

The watch glass is in nice condition with only a small nibble to the outer edge at 2 o'clock.

The signed white enamel dial has a very faint hairline crack between the sub second dial and 5 o'clock but otherwise it is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage.
