The clock stands on its original bracket feet and the base has a cross banded and inlaid panel. The slim trunk has reeded quarter columns and long cross banded and inlaid door. The hood has slim reeded columns with gilt capitals and an elegant swan neck pediment.
The 8 day movement strikes the hours on a bell and has a particularly attractive painted dial. It has floral and gilt painted spandrels and a moon phase indicator to the arch.
The case is in good condition and the movement is running well and keeping good time. The moon phase indicator and date indicator are working as they should. The movement is a little dirty and could probably do with a clean some time in the future. It is complete with pendulum, weights, bell and winding key.
