A Gents 1950s Oversized Movado Wrist Watch

1940 - 1960
Description

A gents 1950s oversized Movado wrist watch.

The watch has a good quality 15-jewel hand-winding movement, calibre 470, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed with the Movado Factories name.

The watch is a very good size at 36.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated with a stainless steel case back and it is in lovely condition.

The lens is in very nice condition too.

The signed dial has a little marking but overall is very acceptable and the subtle two tone finish gives it a very handsome appearance.

The watch has a later brown leather strap.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
