1918 Silver Swiss Pocket Watch Made for the English Market.

Description

1918 silver Swiss pocket watch made for the English market.

The watch has a nice quality Swiss stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is stamped 15 jewels, Swiss made. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50.5mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for London (import mark) 1918. The case has light surface marking and the odd small "ding" to the back but overall it is in nice condition.

The watch glass is in good condition.

The white enamel dial has three faint hairline cracks but only if viewed through a jeweller loupe but overall it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
