The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The watch has a key-winding movement which is working well. The movement is signed A.M. Watch Co, Waltham, Mass and it has the serial number 6895674 which dates it back to 1896. A winding key is included. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 53mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop.
The other marks are worn and illegeble. The case is in nice condition with only the odd mild bruise to the edges of the back.
The glass lens is in good condition.
The white enamel dial is signed A.W.W.Co, Waltham, Mass. It has faint surface scratch under 11 o'clock and a small nibble to the top of the sub seconds dial although hardly noticeable.
The watch has its original gold hands and blued steel sub second hand.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
