Silver Plated Striking Mantel Clock (France, C. 1890)

Description

A late 19th Century French silver plated mantel clock. The has a rectangular case has top and base moldings and square section feet. It has a beaded bezel with a convex bevel edge glass, ornate embossed hands and a hand painted enamel dial. It has an 8 day movement with a lever platform that strikes the hours and halves on a gong.

Current Condition

The case has been re-plated, the movement has been fully serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months. If you would lke a video clip of this clock striking please email us.
