Description

A good example of a 'Corniche' carriage clock with strike on a gong . The clock retains the original silvered jewelled lever escapement and strikes on a gong for the hours and the half hours . The white enamelled dial with Roman numerals and the original very fine Breguet type hands . Circa 1890 . The case is 'Satin' gilt and looks bright but 'soft' on the eye
