Masons Antiques has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The 8 day, weight driven movement strikes on the half-hour and the hour. It has just been fully overhauled by our BHI registered staff. It is clearly marked with the GB logo, as is the dial.

An 8" dial with black Roman numerals, inter spaced Fleur-de-lis, and nicely cut hands. A subsiduary seconds dial.
The walnut case retains it's original French-polished finish with a rich, warm patina.
A very attractive clock.
