Description

A gents 1954 Tissot wrist watch.

The watch has a hand-winding movement, a 27B-21, which is working nicely… this calibre was made between 1950 and 1961. The movement is fully signed and the serial number of 3,129,548 dates it back to 1954. The movement is covered by an inner retainer.

The watch itself measures 32.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is plated with a stainless steel screw-on case back. There is some marking to the plate commensurate with the age of the watch, and some scratches around the edge of the case back. The winding crown is a later replacement.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial has its original hands, centre seconds hand and an outer minute track.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a later Tissot presentation box.
