A Gents 1950s Elgin 19 Shockmaster Wrist Watch

Description

A gents 1950s Elgin 19 Shockmaster wrist watch.

The watch has a hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch itself measures 27.5mm wide at its widest point, and 36mm high including the rather stylish lugs. The case is 10k gold filled. There is wear on the very corners of the lugs, and the odd surface mark, but overall the condition is very acceptable.

The curved lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with vertical stripes, it has a charming appearance.

A new leather strap has been fitted and its funky design sits very nicely alongside the watch.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
