Description

For sale is this very rare Admiralty issue cockpit mounted time of trip clock, by Birch & Gaydon Ltd, pre WW2. The clock has sweep seconds at the top and time setting and reset at the bottom. Fully stamped throughout including the original mount, the clock has been serviced and is in full working order. Diameter of the clock is approx. 9cm with the very fine mahogany mount 17cm by 12.5cm by 15cm. Birch and Gaydon supplied the military with clocks and watches during WW1 and after. Probably mounted on one of the Admiralty Sea planes. Now making a fantastic desk clock.
