Oliver Sargent Antiques has dated this piece to the 1920s.
Diameter of the clock is approx. 9cm with the very fine mahogany mount 17cm by 12.5cm by 15cm. Birch and Gaydon supplied the military with clocks and watches during WW1 and after. Probably mounted on one of the Admiralty Sea planes. Now making a fantastic desk clock.
