19th Century French Mantle Clock with Porcelain Columns & Dial

Description

This is a fine quality 8 day mantle clock with an elegant architectural gilt metal case and beautiful porcelain detail to the hand painted dial and pretty columns. The French movement is in super order and keeps good time, running for eight days and striking a lovely tone on a gong on the hour and half hour.

The clock measures 14 inches in height and 7 inches in width and 5 inches in depth.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
