Description

A Lancashire Watch Co Ltd silver pocket watch, 1901.

The watch has a key-winding movement which is working well. The movement is protected by an inner fitted cover.

The watch measures 52.3mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for Chester 1901 with a maker’s mark of TPH (for Thomas Hewitt of the Lancashire Watch Company). The case is in good condition with engine turned detail and a vacant cartouche to the case back.

The watch glass has light surface marks from use although very acceptable.

The dial is in nice condition.

The watch has its original gold hands with a later blued steel sub second hand.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box
