The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is signed Elgin Nat'l Watch Co, U.S.A, seven jewels and it has the serial number 22658603 which dates it back to 1920.

The watch measures 50 mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop . The gold filled case was made by the American watch case company and is the Fortune model. The case is in nice condition with only the odd light mark from use. The inner hinged cover has some small dents.

The plastic lens is in nice condition.
The dial is enamel and it is signed Elgin, U.S.A.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
