Rare Pre Ww1 Centre Seconds Small Fob Watch and Silver Rimmed Leather Strap, Circa 1910

Description

On offer for sale is this very Rare pre-WW1 centre seconds’ small fob watch and silver rimmed leather strap, circa 1910. It is very rare to find a high-quality item such as this. The leather strap has its original silver protective rim that is Hall marked Birmingham 1906. The strap is in excellent condition and is a perfect fit for its enclosed rare Gun Metal centre seconds’ watch. The watch movement is excellent quality and in full working order keeping time. The dial is undamaged which is rare, and retains its original deep blued hand set including its rare sweep centre second hand. Watches of this type were used by WW1 Royal Flying Corps pilots for navigation purposes. A very rare and fine set.
