A Gents 9ct Gold Boxed Eterna Wrist Watch, 1960

1940 - 1960
Description

A gents 9 carat gold boxed Eterna wrist watch.

The watch has a hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed and the serial number dates it back to 1959.

The watch itself measures 31.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and was made in England by the Dennison Watch Case Company… there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1960. The case is in beautiful condition and there are no personal inscriptions on the back.

The lens is in good condition, as is the dial with original hands, centre seconds hand and minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a vintage Eterna presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
