The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch itself measures 55mm and the case was made in England by the Dennison Watch Case Company. It is nickel and it has a screw-on front and back. The back of the watch is stamped with A79, GS Mk II together with the military arrow, or pheon. The side of the watch is also stamped A79. Overall the case is in good condition, just a couple of small indentations to the back.

The watch glass is in good order.
The black dial is signed with the Rotherhams London name and it also has the same A79 as the case. There is some damage around the centre. Originally the numbers and hands would have had luminous detail but this has been removed over the years.
The watch comes on a nickel chain which measures 31cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
