C18th Longcase Clock by Thomas Walesby of Horncastle

Description

A late 18th Century oak longcase clock by Walesby of Horncastle, the 12ins arched painted dial with subsidiary seconds dial and calendar aperture to the eight day two train movement contained in oak case with scrolled pediment and turned and fluted columns to hood, the trunk with arched door ( dial rubbed and worn an slightly damaged and generally in need of restoration) Note : Thomas Walesby recorded working Horncastle (Lincolnshire) 1795

Good and original, the movement works and the clock seems to run ok although will require servicing there is a crack on the glass in the top left hand side, I can replace this if required
