Gents Omega Seamaster Bumper Automatic Wristwatch, Vintage 1952

This is a stunning gents vintage Omega Seamaster automatic wristwatch in a stainless steel case. The watch has a beautiful silvered dial with centre seconds and gold dagger numerals with luminous dots. The watch has its original Omega stainless steel link bracelet which is in excellent condition. The case is 35mm in diameter, excluding the crown. The crown is the original and bears the Omega emblem.

The movement is a 'bumper' automatic, it is numbered 13,922,772 which dates it to 1952. A 'bumper' is an earlier form of automatic watch movement which is characterised by the fact that the rotor spins back and forth between two springs, rather than spinning freely and completing a full 360 degree rotation.

There are some very faint surface scratches to the steel case and bracelet, commensurate with age and use. The glass is in excellent condition, as is the dial. The movement runs beautifully and the watch keeps excellent time, as one would expect from a watch produced by this renowned manufacturer. This is a great opportunity to purchase a classic vintage Omega in excellent condition.
