The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The Tacy was a combination of the names Tavannes and Cyma.
This particular watch has a good quality stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement has 17 jewels, four adjustments and there is a patent date on the movement of May 1904; the applicant was Henri Frédéric Sandoz, the founder of Tavannes, and it relates to the keyless workings.
The watch itself measures 52mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.
The watch glass has minor marking but is very acceptable.
The white enamel dial is in good condition, with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
