Gents 1950s Gruen Veri-thin Precision Wrist Watch

1940 - 1960
Description

A gents 1950s Gruen Veri-Thin Precision wrist watch.

The watch has a calibre 425 hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed.

The watch itself measures 25mm wide excluding the winding crown and 25mm high excluding the lugs... it would suit a slimmer wrist. The case is gold filled with a Guildite case back (Gruen’s brand name for a stainless steel alloy). The case is in good condition, as is the curved lens.

The signed dial is in its original finish which is in good condition with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
