Rosewood and Mother of Pearl Double Fusee Wall Clock 19th Century

Description

This is a good quality drop dial wall clock with a double fusee movement dating from around 1860. The clock is in excellent working order and the movement is set within a rosewood case beautifully inlaid with mother of pearl decoration and flanked by carved fruiting vine detail. The clock has its original pointers and dial and winds on a key running for 8 days striking the hour on a bell.

This clock measures 60 cms high by 42 cms wide.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
