A most decorative 18th century long case red lacquered clock.

The 12" brass dial , with moon phase , subsidiary seconds dial, and date aperture, having an eight day movement, signed James Gibb, of Stockton.

The case in an exuberant red lacquer and very original decoration, and in superb condition.
