A Vintage 1920s Swiss Silver Pocket Watch

Description

A vintage 1920s Swiss silver pocket watch.

The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement with 15 jewels, which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 48.6mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the stem. The case is silver and there are silver import marks inside the two case backs for London 1920 with a case importers mark for George Stockwell. The case has some small "dings" / surface marking although it is in nice condition for a 1920s piece.

The watch glass is in good condition with only light marking from use.

The white enamel dial is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch will come in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
