Description

Good Quality Brass with Silvered Chapter Ring Lantern Clock from the Edwardian early 20th Century. Marked: Mercer, St. Albans England 004013.

Mercer specialised in Marine Chronometers but also made other types of quality clocks. Their Chronometers went with Ernest Shackleton to the Antartic.

As with all our clocks it has been checked over and now benefits for light oiling. Testing shows it is keeping good time regulated by its platform suspension and so, is offered in full working antique condition.

Including the finial it is 15 inches tall and 5.5 inches in width and depth.
