A 1920s Record Full Hunter Pocket Watch

Description

A 1920s Record full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a nicely jewelled Swiss stem-winding movement with micro regulator which is working nicely. The movement is stamped Record, 15 jewels, Swiss made. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50.8mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and was originally guaranteed to wear for 10 years. The case has light surface marks from use but overall it is in nice condition for a 1920s piece.

The winding crown pushes down to open the front cover. It reveals a white enamel dial signed Record with a plastic lens which is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark. The dial has faint hairline cracks although hardly noticeable to the naked eye.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
