The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a nicely jewelled Swiss stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is stamped with the Cyma calibre number 998 and Swiss made. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50.6mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the English watch case maker Aaron Dennison.

The winding crown is pressed in to release the front cover. Inside is a plastic lens which is in nice condition and a white enamel dial. There is a very faint hairline crack between 4 & 5 o'clock although hardly noticeable but overall it is in nice condition.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
