An Antique Waltham Full Hunter Pocket Watch, 1919

1900 - 1920
Description

An antique Waltham full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a good quality hand-winding movement, grade 620, which has jewelled pallets, a Church 1892 Starwheel regulator and damascening, all extra expense at the time of manufacture. The movement is working nicely and is fully signed, and it has the serial number 22,779,330 dates it back to 1919. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and was made by the Dennison Watch Case Company, Aaron Dennison was previously heavily involved in the Waltham Watch Company. The case is in very nice condition.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is a glass lens which is in good condition, over a signed white enamel dial with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
