Antique Waltham Traveler Half Hunter Pocket Watch

An antique Waltham Traveler half hunter pocket watch with chain and fob.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 13,763,925 dates it back to 1904. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and it is in good condition, just light surface marking and very slight unevenness in a couple of places, so shallow it’s barely worth mentioning.

The front cover has a small glass lens surrounded by Roman numerals with enamel infill. The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition. The white enamel dial has a very small hairline just next to the number 12 but it is small, equivalent to a short eyelash. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes with a single gold plated watch albert, 30cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. There is also a shorter chain which accommodates an attractive swivel. There is a little plate loss on the T-bar.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
