An Antique Cyma Pocket Watch, Circa 1910s

Description

An antique Cyma pocket watch, circa 1910s.

The watch has a 15-jewel stem-winding movement, calibre 971, which is working well. The movement is signed Cyma.

The watch itself measures 56mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop so a little larger than the standard 50mm pocket watches. The nickel case has a semi-hermetic case with screw-on back and bezel, a nice sign of quality.

The watch glass has a few little marks and minor nibbles to the bevelled edge but overall it is very acceptable.

The signed white enamel dial is in good condition with sturdy blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
