Worboys Antiques has dated this piece to the 1900s.
It has a 10" square brass dial with high quality engraving and a silvered chapter ring. It has an 8 day weight driven Westminster chime movement that sounds the 1/4's and the hours (it has a lever to turn the chimes and hours off). The movement was made by by Lenzkirch of Germany and is numbered 1,407720 dating its manufacture to 1904. The chimes of this clock are very sonorous and must be heard to be appreciated. Current Condition
The case is in good original condition, the movement has been fully serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months.
