Cross Antiques has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
The case is in nicely figured mahogany and stands on its original ogee bracket feet. The hood has a decorative swan neck pediment with particularly nice carved wood patria.
The dial and movement are possibly associated but they both fit in the case well and overall it looks very smart.
The case is in excellent condition and the movement is working well and keeping good time.
