Small Mid 18th Century Oak Longcase Clock

Description

Mid 18th Century solid oak cased longcase clock of small proportions. It has a high quality square brass dial with corner spandrels , an engraved chapter ring, a subsidiary seconds dial and date window. The 8 day movement strikes the hours on a bell made by Thomas Watts of Hadleigh c.1760. (He is listed as a maker in 1753)
