Vintage 1920s Elgin Pocket Watch.

Description

Vintage 1920s Elgin pocket watch.

The watch has a grade 303 stem-winding movement which is working nicely. This is a very good quality movement and it has a Moseley patent regulator… a patent regulator is indicative of superior quality. The movement is signed and the serial number 25762243 dates it back to 1922.

The watch measures 46.7mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The case is gold filled and it has a nice engine turned back with foliate detail and a vacant cartouche to the centre. The case is in nice condition with only light surface marks from use.

The watch glass is in nice condition.

The signed silvered dial has light surface marking / discolouring although it has a great vintage look.

The watch has blued steel hands.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
