Martins. The ormolu clock stands on a gilded wooden base which sits on an ebonised stand with turned feet and houses the original glass dome. The movement stamped " Medal D'argent Vincenti & Cie" which translates and means Jean Vincenti and Co were awarded a silver medal by King Louis Phillipe in 1834 allowing them to display the award on their clock movements (this clock made Circa 1890). The clock retains the original pendulum stamped 175 which corresponds with the back of the movement. Striking on the hour and half hour with an 8 day movement. Due to logistics we do not offer a working guarantee with this clock, but we have had it working for 2 weeks prior to offering it for sale.
